This brief overview, which is non-specific as to who the acquisition candidate is, allows prospects to determine if the particular opportunity meets their strategic requirements. Once the “Blind Profile” is reviewed, the buyer signs a Confidentiality Agreement (CA), identifying your Company only by a pre-assigned “Client Number” prior to receiving any additional information. After signing the CA, with your permission, they receive a detailed Business Overview, which is created by R L Davidson. Successful transactions. Update 2022 Are deals still happening? Yes, and no. We are starting to see renewed interest in talking about transactions. So, deals can happen, but they have been slowed. The slow down on acquisitions is related to the uncertainty about the future. But many of the people we talk too are beginning to look further down the road and are currently looking for opportunities that can be accomplished in the short-term. Within our industry specialization we are seeing stable activity. We are currently in early discussions on several projects and anticipate some potential transactions this year. Business acquisitions are, of course, based on the future. And while there are market disruptions right now most industry leaders see good times in the near-term. All of our buyers are looking for the right deal that fits within their current organizations; we are not hearing anyone say price will be an issue. We believe the near “normal” market prices of the last few years will still be prevalent in the near-term future. We stay informed on day-to-day conditions within our industry and would be available to discuss any issues about doing a transaction during these unsettled times.
